Centrepoint
Overview
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading charity for young people facing homelessness. Every Christmas, they see a spike in cases so they launched their 2023 campaign, “This Should Never Be Christmas,” aimed to raise awareness and drive donations at a time when they need it most.
My Role
I worked on the digital out-of-home side of the campaign, which appeared across major screens on Oxford Street, throughout London, and across London shopping centres. A production house handled the shoot, and I stepped in for everything post: editing, motion graphics and preparing the final outputs.
It was my first time delivering content for large-format DOOH which was a new and exciting challenge in itself which I really enjoyed. It went so well I was asked back the following year to deliver Centrepoint’s 2024 campaign that was featured on the Piccadilly Circus screens (which has been a goal of mine for many years – see a very happy Tom below).
Results
The 2023 campaign was Centrepoint's most successful to date, achieving record-breaking donations. This success was attributed to the outstanding creative work and the extensive coverage across London, which included out-of-home (OOH), digital out-of-home (DOOH), direct mail, and social media integration.
